ABOUT
LEGAL CAREERS TODAY

Ditch the Blueprint. Design Your Legal Career.

Legal Careers Today is all about helping legal professionals figure out what’s next in their professional journey. My goal is to offer real, practical advice at every stage—from LSAT prep and law school admissions to navigating Big Law, going in-house, or chasing that partner title. Think of me as part guide, part sounding board—here to help you carve out a path that works for you.

I graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in Canada and started out on the traditional track: I did the whole On-Campus Interview thing, landed at a Bay Street firm (Toronto’s version of Wall Street), and completed my articling year there. I actually got a Big Law offer in 2L, but I turned it down to work at a boutique firm instead—a choice that kicked off a much less conventional journey. Truthfully, I didn’t love the experience, but I pushed through, got licensed, and eventually found myself working as a Labor and Employment associate at a fully remote firm while traveling around the U.S. By then, my path looked pretty different from most of my law school classmates and friends.

During my travels, I ended up falling in love with Denver, Colorado, and decided to make it home. Prepping for the Bar here made me stop and think: is practicing law still what I want? That question led me to career coaching at Whistler Partners—a space where I can share what I’ve learned and support other legal professionals. Whether you're in the middle of a transition, figuring out your next step, or just want someone to talk it through with, I’m here. You can read more about my journey in my blog post or just reach out—I’d love to connect!
